Since I upgraded to Catalina, I have noticed that photoanalysisd comes up frequently, uses up to 100% of the CPU, and runs for a long time. Is there a way that I can disable it? I don't use Apple photos app. So there is no reason for it to run.
I want to do the opposite, I want to force start in 15 minutes instead 2 hoursWith SIP disabled, you can stop it from starting https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...aryd-and-photoanalysisd.2376267/post-31860529
As you can’t modify the plist file, you could create your own launch agent and restart photoanalysisd every 15 minutes.I want to do the opposite, I want to force start in 15 minutes instead 2 hours
/bin/launchctl kickstart -k gui/501/com.apple.photoanalysisd
