How to put gingerbread on lg P350?

I'm not trolling, I have an LG Optimus Me that is stuck in Froyo, How do I update it to Gingerbread without rooting or playing around with the filesystem? I should have thought of buying an iPhone last year rather than getting into this dilemma 🙁 The reason i got this phone was because I can't afford an iphone (yet).
