How to put windows on your mac.

I heard some rumors that you can split your hard drive in half. One half for mac and one half for windows. Anybody know how to do this.

You use bootcamp. It comes free with every Mac. It's not a rumor either.

No you dont need a CD. Your Mac comes with bootcamp and the only CD you will need is the windows one.

I wouldnt split your HD in half either. Usually about 32 GB should be suffice.

You can certainly purchase download editions of Windows 7 from Microsoft, but you will still need to burn that to DVD or create a custom USB installer to actually perform the install. You also need the driver package that is on your Mac OS X install disc.
