I have noticed once I open the finder, it does not seem to quit like the other apps, when I right click it, there is no option to quit. Is it supposed to run all the time?

Three times this question got asked in the last two days.

If you want to add a QUIT FINDER menu option, open Terminal and enter this, after that restart:

Code:
defaults write com.apple.Finder QuitMenuItem 1

Btw, MRoogle can find you the answers to many questions.

You can also relaunch the Finder by pressing Command-Alt-Esc and pressing close.
