The title says it all.

I'd like to be able to do reviews and demonstrations of things on the iPad. I would also like to record weird behavior that I see in applications—so I can send them in bug reports to app developers.

So! How do I record a screencast of the iPad like big Steve J does when he gives his presentations?

Quickly press the home button and the power button simultaneously . The screen shot will be in your pictures directory.

Accessory?

If there is an accessory that allows you to connect to a TV, I would think you could connect to DVR/VCR first to do the record?

If you have access to a nice document camera, I think that would be your best bet.

Video output options for the iPad are the Apple iPad VGA Adapter, and the composite cable adapter. Both of these only work in a few select Applications (Youtube, Videos, Photos), and will not be what you're looking for.
