I've been a little enthusiastic in cleaning up my macbook pro. I had iSync on the desktop and in the dock but wanted to remove it from the former. I couldn't, so eventually (probably in frustration) I put it in the trashbin thinking it would only remove it from the desktop but not the dock. I then started to empty the trashbin and saw it was removing 2000+ items so I stopped the emptying process. However, the iSync icon in the dock now has a "deleted" sign on it and I can't open it. On top of that stupidity, I haven't yet activated time machine so don't have an archived position to revert to. Is there anyone out there who is smart enough to make up for my incompetence? Needless to say I won't be doing the same thing again. Any help appreciated.

You can either re-install it with the OSX disk (might need to re-install whole thing, not sure) or just find a friend with a Mac/nip down to the Apple store with a flash-drive.

    Not a biggie.
