How to recover forgotten icloud password?

I forgot my iclouds password..is there a way to recover my password cauze i need to reset my ipad...when i turn of find my ipad ...it needs my icloud password?does someone have a fix for this?i dont want to go to a repair shop cause i dont trust them..lol...and i dont want to spend a couple of bucks for that...
