With Bluetooth headphone you can't reduce the volume independently from the Apple device. It means the music is too loud. How do I make the BT headphones not control iOS music volume like Android works?

Perhaps I don’t understand the problem, but what you describe is not my experience. I’m currently using iOS 11 and I have independent controls for each sound output.

1) If I’m using my iPad’s internal speakers, the volume is at 4 notches

2) When I connect my Airpods, the volume changes to whatever it was previously with those (2 notches)

3) When I connect my M2 AEBTs, the volume changes again (6 notches)

Perhaps you need to restart your device?

The difference is that the volume controls of the BT device control the volume of the Apple device. On Android the BT device doesn't do anything to the volume of the Android device, but does increase/decrease volume of the BT device. Ergo, my point being that for BT on iOS that the lowest volume is too loud for the music and how do you fix that in iOS?

I'm afraid the answer is "you can't". My BT headset is also too loud for evening listening, and I haven't been able to find a music app that can artificially lower the volume before sending it out to the headset. Seems like this shouldn't be too difficult to code, so maybe it even exists and I just haven't found the right app.
I get the feeling Apple doesn't want me to listen to Taylor's latest album on iOS.

I got some Sony Bluetooth Headphones and i can turn up and down the colume on the headphones itself without changing the volume on the device itself. I can make it a lot louder this way
