Hey guys..

I think I have like a huge problem....
So I bought this Macbook Pro (2011) on eBay cuz I'm a student and not exactly the richest guy on earth. It works absolutely fine, except for the fact I was still logged on to the account of the user I bought the MB from. I was unable to install anything (like Adobe flash player) cuz it kept asking me for a password. So I read in the manual that I had to reset the thing to factory setting and reinstall the software. The software disc included was Snow Leopard 10.6.6. So I deleted everything on the old drive and I was ready to install the software again. Turns out there was like Lion 10.7 on the macbook and I was unable to use the Snow Leopard 10.6.6 disc on it. My question is: is there still a way to go back from 10.7 to 10.6 on the Macbook despite being stuck in the installation menu thing?

I'm scared I did the wrong thing by deleting everything on the old drive. My dad helped pay for it and I'm in big trouble if it's dead thanks to me. Pleaseeeeeee help guys! I'm desperate.

Btw I'm from The Netherlands so I'm sorry if you can't decipher my English lol.

If the DVD you have is the original Restore DVD, do a Clean Install, but know, that every data on the volume/disk will be erased.

To create a Clean Install (formerly known as Erase & Install) of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard (the 19 USD Upgrade DVD is a fully working retail version of Mac OS X and does not need a prior installation of Mac OS X on the Mac), follow one of the following guides:

When I follow those steps (after selecting the language etc) it says it cannot boot Mac Os X from that drive. Then I'm stuck.
