I would like to reinstall my MBA, I have not the superdrive, how can I proceed, I would like the next owner of my laptop to have my computer like New In Box....

thanks

Hey,

If you do a search, a few folks have done it via remote disk.

My buddy tried it and it's a painful process. It takes hours upon hours to complete, and it got hung up on mulitple occasions. Out of fustration, he ended up purchasing the superdrive.

Maybe a few folks on here have tried it via remote disk, and hopefully had an easier process...

Of course I have no remote disk, just an MBA and two hands...

You need another computer with a disk drive on it to use remote disk. The MAC OSX instal disk 1 comes with a program to do this. You instal it on the computer with the disk drive and then you can clean install OSX over your wireless network.

thanks everybody, I've used my wife's laptop and yes...I have used Windows Vista to reinstall Mac OS X on my MBA, it works 😀

I had the same experience as your bud. It take FOREVER over the air.
