How to reinstall mid 2012 mbp iOS?

I want to change hard drive with a new one. Since it doesn't come with an iOS DVD, how can we Install iOS to a new hd
 
Its OSX and not iOS, and when the computer boots, hit Cmd-R until it boots into recovery mode
