I tried to install Eye-Fi X2 Utility on my Mac Pro and it does not install and now I can't remove it. When I restart it is stuck on the desktop.

When I try the Eye-Fi card reader in the USB slot with X2 card it does not activate.

it may be listed as a startup item,

Apple | System Preferences | Users and Groups | Login Items

If anything is there for this program, remove it.

Alternately, start in Safe Mode to remove it, hold the shift key down while your restart the Mac.

Did you try closing the app through Activity Monitor?

Open terminal. Type top hit return. Look for the number next to that app and type kill then the number. Hit return. Should end it
