Has something changed? I’m in edit mode and not getting little x’s on any of my apps on my watch. I have quite a few I want to remove. Am I missing something?

On your phone, open watch app, scroll down to the apps that are installed, select, next screen if a toggle - tap it and it will remove the app from the watch. Hope this helps.

Long press app screen, edit apps, the X’s are there.

When I do this, the toggles are grayed out - can’t move them.

Is there a setting I’m missing somewhere? I’m so frustrated!

Have you tried using your phone to delete them?

Also, many Apple apps can’t be deleted.

I have. Toggle switches are grayed out, and yes I know many of the stock ones can’t be, but it automatically loaded quite a few others, and I just won’t use those on the watch.

It's easier if the apps are in list mode, you can just swipe left to get the red trash can showing. Then tap to delete.

I can swipe left all day long and I get NO option to delete - it does nothing.

I’m gonna have to contact Apple. I’m clearly missing something somewhere - a setting or something, although I cannot find one.

Do you have allow delete off on phone

It’s under screen time/restrictions

I DID! I was just coming here to report that I did a chat with Apple, and that setting was on “Don’t Allow” for some odd reason. Anyway, all fixed!

Now to get with ATT and see why my cellular isn’t working. Not looking forward to THAT phone call.

@Pink2 - I'm having trouble finding these settings. Please post a little more detail on where where they are.

Thanks in Advance - GetRealBro

I believe they are under Settings > Screen Time > content & privacy restrictions.
Thanks. I checked and you are correct. I didn't find these settings because I have Screen Time turned off. And I only get to see or adjust these settings if Screen Time is turned on.
