I just scored a 12" 1.33GHz PowerBook G4, great shape, even better once I shine it up. Anyways, I had to buy it untested since the someone broke off a piece of the middle "stem" from the power plug. With the condition it is in, I am hopeful that that is only issue.

Any advice on how to retrieve the stuck piece? Super glue on the tip of a toothpick? lol I know the DC-in board is replaceable on this model but have had no luck finding one for sale.

Any suggestions?
[doublepost=1524118423][/doublepost]No clue how I didn't check PowerBook Medic. They got it for $2.50. SMH. Looks like I will be doing a complete tear down of this guy..

If you dismantle the PowerBook, you might be able to get into the back of the power socket and push the pin through with a paperclip like so;

The link in my sig will lead you to all the documentation you need to take apart your 12-inch PowerBook. It's VERY easy to do—it just requires organizing LOTS of screws. An old ice cube tray is the perfect ad hoc screw organizer.

Take your time and you'll have lots of fun :)
