I've been trying to remove streaming apps from the TV app in iOS with no luck.

For example, if I open the TV settings from the main "Settings" in iOS I see toggle switches for all of my linked apps. (ABC, Discovery, FoxNOW, HBO, etc)

When I turn off the toggle to unlink the apps and remove it from the app, a prompt comes up stating "To change this setting, open the TV app" with an button to "Open TV App". When I do this, the TV app opens but nothing happens.

Has anyone figured out how to remove these types of streaming apps from the TV app they no longer use?

I tried rebooting my phone and it didnt seem to help. I believe it is synched somewhere with iCloud as I performed an update / restore to my iPad and the settings carried back over.

I don't have a newer Apple TV to try and see if I can unlink these from that device.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

I see this is still an issue with iOS 12.3, has anyone been able to find a fix?

When I try and remove a channel, the TV app opens and a message states

"Link Failed to Open There were errors opening this link. Wait a moment, then try again"

They've changed how you manage connected apps in 12.3. Go into the Apple TV app and scroll to the top of the "Watch Now" tab. Tap your avatar to get to your account. From here select "Connected Apps".

That is how I am doing it.

What I wonder is this, I got a new phone a couple months back, so none of the apps are installed on this phone. I tried redownloading them and turning off unwanted connected apps and I still get that error.
