iPad Pro How to remove edit button from the widgets on Home Screen?

Ever since I reset the iPad Pro and got my widgets set up on the Home Screen, there is an edit button underneath it and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to make it disappear. Help me please? 😳

I don't think you can. It is for editing "old school" widgets that do not follow the new widget design.

Then you’ll have to have the edit button there if you want to use older style widgets.

The other way is to nag the dev of the offending app with the old school widgets to update them to the new type.
