i can't believe it took 17 posts before someone actually answered the persons question. aren't forums supposed to be about help? seems like there is way too many "comedians" on here.....douches..

Post #17 didn't answer his question. You can't delete YouTube unless you have a jailbroken phone.

How to get rid of the unwanted ICON

Hold your finger on the icon you wish to delete (for at least 3 seconds) until all the icons start shaking like an earthquake. You then have the option to delete the ones that you have added by clicking the X to delete.

Good Luck.

Hello, from where do i have to press X, i cant see no X button on the screen. could you please help

This only works for web apps or 3rd party apps. Not stock apps. Also, if all you want to do is get rid of youtube, turn it off in parental controls. Won't get rid of it but will hide it.

Easy

Go to Settings App> General> Restrictions> Push to turn on restrictions>

Those you can delete will have an X on the top left corner of the icon that will allow you to delete that icon by touching it. (Jailbroken iphone 1st edition)

Finally the correct answer. For the rest of the 95% please note: "5% of the people have hemorrhoids & 95% are perfect ******s. :p

How to remove youtube or stock apps from iphone

This was posted in another forum A WHILE AGO :)

Hello All,

Thanx 4 all the humor and less than serious replies; I, however, honestly and absolutely had to delete or disable YouTube. So, with much effort and perserverance, I alone have solved this puzzel.

Believe it or not, Apple has provided the perfect solution for anyone wishing to do just what I wanted to do. Here's how:

Click "Settings" then "General" then "Restrictions" then enter your passcode ( JUST TYPE IN 0000), then under "Allow" simply click the desired App "Off" (in this case YouTube).

Attention MacWorld, PLEASE(!) publish this in an upcomming issue of your magazine.

Whats a douch ? i think i heard someone called that in 1981 , never did understand it

stock icons

You can at least corral stock icons. Press an icon until the icons start shaking. Drag whichever icons you don't want into another you don't want. I'm not a gamer, so I use the games icon as my dump. Then exile the dump to your last page.
