iPhone How to remove iMessage app row

Hi,

Simple question, how do I get rid of the app row in iMessage?

I assume you can't but wanted to check if there are any tricks

I just tapped the App Row (/Store) logo next to the camera and that was it, haven't seen it pop up since without tapping the logo again. The thing is, I think you need to add a recipient first, after that the buttons become enabled. No need to send a message, but there needs to be a recipient selected.
