Currently I have a large playlist collection in iTunes that seems to by default mixed with "my music" in Apple Music - is there a way to separate the two?

How to remove my Itunes playlists from Apple Music (My Music)?

You can create folders (My Music is the default folder) and put the Playlists in them. However all folders and Playlist will be available in Apple Music.
