How to remove ORIGINAL photos saved by iOS and just keep the edited version?

I edit a lot of my photos on my iphone (basically running a script that adds extra sharpness etc to all photos) and iOS seems to be "keeping" the original version of the files hidden.

Is there a app / tool / shortcut or any other way to delete these original images and keep ONLY the edited version?

I do know that i can import / export them via mac, but are there any other less time consuming way?

I work with many folders etc, so exporting them and importing them makes it a bit hard and time consuming for me.

That’s how modern DAM apps work. The original is sacrosanct and cannot be modified.

What you can do is export an edited version to settings you want, and reimport it, then delete the original. You can do this in bulk (but only at album level if you want to preserve your albums), doesn’t need to be done one by one.

There are apps that export the Photos library in bulk but will not preserve your Folders/Albums
