How to remove this black box

Hello,

I am new to apple and have accidentally turned this black box on. I have attached a screen shot to help identify this black box as i don't know what to call it.

Unfortunately i don't know what it does and how to turn it off...

Can anyone help me please?

You may have VoiceOver turned on.

Disable in System Preferences > Accessibility

It's the tips dialogue...go to accessibility in system prefs, and turn off the notifications box.
