    Dear Macrumorscommunity

I just moved, and I am managing 4 airport expresses here for the wireless music around the house. I however need another, and I decided to just use the Mac Mini for outputting sound in its room.

Now - how do I rename the Mac Mini for AirTunes so it says "Living Room". The expresses have custom names like bedroom, kitchen etc... but the Mac Mini just says "Computer" when I browse AirTunes with my iPod.

Do you know where I can change the name specificly for AirTunes?

    Thank you!

(and yes, I did try to browse the forum and google - no luck )

The only way i have found to do this is erase the computer and reinstall the OS fresh and go through the whole beginning and rename it there.

    Hope this helped.

but... the computer is named Mac Mini... why wouldn't it say "Mac Mini" in the AirTunes then? Thank you for taking your time to answer my post.
