Hello,

I've had Windows XP running with boot camp since Leopard came out. I switched to Vista, then got a new PC, and decided I didn't need the Windows partition anymore.

After removing the partition, the mac will no longer automatically boot into OSX; I have to hold the option key and select it.

Does anyone know how to restore the proper boot settings?

Do it this way

I'm new to Mac myself and when I deleted a windows partition I had the same problem. So, here's the fix:

System Preferences - Startup Disk - and just select the MAC OS.

That's it.

Good Luck
