How to reset DHCP on MBP

So ya, how do reset my DHCP on my MBP. I was/am using my new Handy Light 😎 but when I got back to regular Wi-Fi it won't connect up. I read that resetting the DHCP works to fix this, but I'm not entirely sure how.

I'm sure it's easy and I'm just stupid, but hopefully this will help others who don't know as well.

You don't exactly reset DHCP; DHCP is a protocol.
Go to system preferences->network->advanced and click on Renew DHCP lease.

Thanks, that's what I meant. I had read "reset" somewhere and I just rolled with it.
