How to reset iPad?

I plan to give my iPad 2 to a relative. I want to delete all apps and all info emails etc. how do I "format" the iPad? It's in my name and I want to allow him to set it up in his own name with his own Apple ID and password.

Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings will do what you want.
