How to reset rMBP for return?

After setting up a new rMBP today, I decided to return it for one having 256 SSD. How best to delete my personal info? Do I have to also delete the OSX update to 10.8.2?

Boot while holding cmd-R, follow the on screen instructions to do a clean reinstall.

Alternatively, to save time, you can create a new user account, then log in to that account and use it to delete the old user account. Make sure to "erase data securely" in the process.

If you go the restore route, you'll have to wait until the computer finishes downloading the OS installation image, which can take... quite a while.

Thanks. So the process is to reinstall OSX rather than just delete my personal info? What version does it reinstall to?
