How to resolve crash through wake during sleepmode?

Hi there,

My Mac has crashed while in sleepmode (overnight). This happened to me once before and I had to reinstall Yoshemite and all programs again. Is there a way, that I don't know about, to fix the crash without starting all over again?!

Open Console app and look back at the date/time of the crash and see if there is anything in the logs that would help troubleshoot.

Have you tried booting into the recovery partition by booting while holding down Command-r, then going to Utilities>First Aid and running Repair Disk?
