I'm trying to figure out how to get my 2 hard drives back to their factory settings. I don't want to format them for my mac just yet. I just want to clear the drives to factory fresh because they are going into a Guardian Maximus Raid 1 exclosure. I cannot for the life of me get the enclosure to recognize the drives. I tried formatting them using the disk utility then I erased the partition on them using drive genius. I know that the enclosure requires two I identical and factory fresh drives but western digitals software doesn't run on my mac...
