I have an ipad1 3g which has been jailbroken and currenly have 4.3.3.

I wanna restore to factory via the restore button on itunes.

1. Is this the recommended way of doing it?
2. Would itunes restore my ipad to the firmware version it originally came with? I think its version 3.x.

Thank you

It will restore it to default 4.3.5, or whatever the most current version of iOS is. It will get rid of your jailbreak.

since it will install 4.3.5, will I be able to 4.3.3 jailbreak afterwards? thanks again

I don't know much about jail breaking on 4.X devices. I assume there is a way to revert or roll back device software, so you might want to Google that. Last I tried, you download the iOS software, then hold down "option" while clicking Restore. It should ask you for a software package, but that was back in iTunes 8. I would double check.
