Is that his mom!?!?

Better have pix when she comes over!!

Awesome, I'll do this as soon as the time expires.

Judging by the way you changed my name I'm not sure if that's a compliment or an insult. :p

But thank you. I know what it's like to have something with a high value stolen from me and if I was this person I would be ecstatic to have someone return what is rightfully mine.

Sorry, I should have said Sn0warmpuccy instead :)

OP

You did good, however, I don't think I would want to be the kid that lost the phone. I wonder if his mom knows about the photo he has on it.

Of course if that's his mom then everything is cool. :D

You might not want to mention the part about the empty beer cans to his mom:D

You did well

Maybe he should. If the dumb kid wasn't drinking, he might have been more careful with his expensive new toy. Unless of course the person who owns it is indeed of age and maybe mommy was just trying to get a hold of him.

Nice to see some people in this world are still doing the right thing. My hat goes off to you, OP.

Thanks. I just hope there is someone out there that would do the same for me if I lost my Nexus One. Even if I did misplace it in a drunken stooper.

i used to have the LG prada phone, got stolen in a bar, i dont remember how, maybe i did set it down but hte phone was gone.

Then got another LG prada phone and was on campus, used the bathroom, left it on the toilet paper box and when i recalled that i left it 2 min later went back it was gone.

Both incidents the person that found the phones never bothered to return it, i tried to call my number and nothing. Of course I never got another one, i suppose i wasnt meant to have a Prada phone so got my first iphone 3G instead.

This story really makes me feel good, not that it would return what was stolen from me but because there are some good people out there.

So did the mother pick it up? or u still waiting sn0warmpuccy? :D

Yeah, I was going to say. That kid has a fugly iPhone 4. lol. Very honorable of you to return it like that. Not many people would.

...

Yeah, getting stuff stolen really puts a damper on things. Especially since the iPhone doesn't have insurance that covers theft.

She ended up calling me back and telling me the apartment number so I just ran it over and left it with his roommate. Don't worry, I confirmed the first and last name of the owner (given to me by the mother) before I handed it over.

Great job, man! I would've done the same, too. I would want someone to do that for me if I misplace my phone. But around my area, they'd keep it lol

You're a good guy, OP.

I am disappointed in the mom not meeting you personally though. If she has any class at all, there should be a basket of cookies on your doorstep at least.

Is that Scarlet Johansen? Good taste, bad screen protector application skills though .. Lol.

Kudos for the OP.
