iPhone How to revert to iOS 8.4.1?

Public beta 3 of IOS 9 is a batery sucker for me and I would like to revert to iOS 8.4.1

How can I do this? I've been reading that only way is via DFu mode. is that true?

Followed this and now back to iOS 8.4.1

Battery life is much better and less heating
