How to save contacts to Google Contacts automatically?

When I had an android phone, whenever I saved a contact to my phone it would also automatically save to my google contacts. That doesn't happen with my iPhone. Is it possible to do on iOS?

Yes it is, I use it myself since IOS4 with my 3GS.

You nedd to create an exchange profile with google credentials just for contact syncing.
