Hi,
I am new to the mac os, and was wondering how to save files to different folders within a hard drive. When I choose to save anything, I can only save it to the actual hard drive or volume, but not to any folders inside. Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance.

when you go to save as, to the right of the save as box hit the blue arrow button facing down and it will reveal more options as far as folders within the hard drive

Click the triangle in the blue box to the right of the "Save As" field. A file browser will magically appear.

Over time, you'll find that your favourite locations will appear in the "where" dropdown so you don't need to use the file browser.
