The weather app does not appear to show the wind speed and direction. As a biker, this information is important. Is there a third party app or some other way to figure out the wind on the apple watch>

    ----------

UPDATE: Found one way that may not be known:

ask siri: "What is the current wind speed?"

It does not appear that the built-in weather app displays this information natively, but asking siri will give you the answer.

Fly to New York, get to the top of the Empire State Building and fling the watch off and make note of it's path as it descends.
For even greater accuracy, measure distance from the base of the building.

Great idea. You should request this feature from Apple.

I just got a weather app called "Dark Sky". Loads of information.

    wind speed
    humidity
    dew point
    visibility
    hourly forecast
    pressure
    high & low temp.
