I just added another number to my dual sim iPhone (business).

Using my GSM watch I FaceTimed a contact tagged as personal, yet my business number showed up.

On my phone I don’t even have a number I just use an email as the identifier for new FaceTime calls.

how can I select which id To use on FaceTime on the watch?

You can only have one dedicated number as a primary contact details and can use for FaceTime.

Wow that’s super inconsistent with their other devices and not the same as the line associated with the watch.

Keep one primary number that you can use for FaceTime across all your devices and it should be fine.

Only the phone can choose multiple lines to call / text from. Any other device that uses message forwarding and iCloud services, will pick up the primary number by default. I learnt it the hard way.

Yeah, I guess I have to make that choice.

I wish it was consistent with the phone, ipad, and mac os where I simply select an email address for outgoing calls, or at least the number associated with the watch.
