Hi All,

Sorry if this has already been posted, or if its in the wrong section, however I've recently upgraded to a 13" MacBook Pro, therefore looking to sell my 2012 13" MacBook Air.

The unit is in very good condition, however the battery (never been replaced or serviced) is quite poor - probably lasts about 30-45 minutes and the percentage indicator in macOS isn't very reliable anymore (regularly goes from 20-25% to 0% very quickly etc).

Also, the power cable is torn near the power plug so i guess this would fail a PAT test.

What is the best way to sell the unit? My first thoughts were eBay however hesitant to sell via here due to the battery/power supply faults.

I would still try eBay. Just be sure to list all of its issues like you just did. Good luck!

I personally would and have used https://mresell.co.uk/ - you may get less than eBay but then you have to factor in all the fee's and hassle of eBay. Gumtree for me is just high risk. With mresell, you get quote and you get to even drop it off to them which was reassuring.
