    Hi guys.

One of my friends that I do tech support for spilled a glass of wine onto the keyboard of his 15" MBP. It no longer responds to any power button, but the battery (built in) seems to be fine - it charges, but the computer otherwise does not respond.

He since replaced the machine, but I took it off his hands.

It's cosmetically PERFECT - it never left his desk and was used maybe 6x a year for email checking.

What's the best way to sell this for parts?

I know the LCD, keyboards, etc. all go for premiums on the reseller market.

Do I list the whole thing on eBay "as is", or...? Somehow separate its parts? (Questionable, since I don't really know what I'm doing...)

Any resellers I should just give it to for parts?

Suggestions welcome to maximize how much I can get out of this machine.

    NP

    eBay x 2 in an as-is auction.

If you take the machine apart to the point of being able to sell individual components, you will likely break numerous parts in the process which can negate the effort and profit as opposed to listing the whole thing.

You might want to ask your friend if anything is on the hard drive that he does not want other people to see as the hard drive may very well still be functional.

sell it as as is for parts.

be as clear as possible and do not accept bids with low feedback.
