    I installed Windows XP using boot camp. every time I start my MBP, it will start windows xp first. I have to hold "option" key so it will allow me to choose between mac os x and windows. so here is my question, how to set mac os x as the default starting os?

    OS X
    System Preferences -> Startup Disk

    Windows
    Control Panel -> Boot Camp -> Startup Disk

    System Preferences > Start Disk > Select OSX.

    You're done.

    In Sys Pref, choose startup drive, then choose OS X.

    I knew when my post was taking an eternity to load that the database was chugging along on this thread. I didn't think I'd be first though.

    Wow. Three replies in the same minute, only one minute after the question was asked. That's fast service.
