You shouldn't be using MobileTerminal if you don't know how to change your password.

When logged in as root, type passwd. Enter your new password twice. Done. 🙂

open Mobile terminal.

Type:

su passwd

Type your Current default root password

them Type your New password...twice.

Done.

There are 2 passwords: root and mobile.

Don't forget to do a passwd mobile as well.
