How to set up an iCloud email on my mac?

Hi, I want to create an iCloud email and don't have my iPhone yet, how do I do this?
 
On your Mac, go into System Preferences, ICloud, and then click on Mail & Notes, then you will be prompted to create a @me.com address.
 
Good luck with that one. It's like creating a GMail account. Every single good name is taken, even yours, I bet. 🙂
