How to set up time machine to use the network drive

    Hi i have a question how can i set up the time machine to use my network drive ?

    can someone help me with this if it is possible

    so i checked the link and i followed the instructions but i can see the drive in my time machine
    i opened the terminal client and entered defaults write com.apple.systempreferences TMShowUnsupportedNetworkVolumes 1 nothing happened and my network drives are mounted i can see it on my laptop but it is not showing up on the time machine

    Quit out of Time Machine; restart it. Does it show up now? Or... restart the Mac. Either way, I vaguely remember having to do one or the other. :)
