Okay I'm getting my iMac this week and planning on retiring my Mac mini and use it as a backup server. This will be first time I'm moving from Macmini to something different. All my software currently resides on Macmini i.e. LR6 + CS6 + Parallels + Windows 7. My current Mac mini is i7 + 1.5GB SSD.
Whereas new iMac is 1GB SSD.
If I use Timemachine from Mac mini to restore it on iMac, will I get all my software on iMac ?
I'm just concerned about 4 of my main software i.e LR6 + CS6 + Windows 7 on Parallels. Rest all I dont care as I can reinstall or dont worry about it when I move to iMac.
Any suggestions on how to do this ?
