iPod touch how to setup mail

how do i get my email to my ipod touch. i use hotmail and i dont know the pop thingy. how do i find out.

There is an application which you can use to access hotmail. It's $10. Other than that, there's really no decent and free way to do so as hotmail does not support POP or IMAP. You might also want to consider switching your email account.

Not sure about IMAP, but mail.ru should work via POP.

I'd recommend getting a Gmail account. It's easy, and over a few weeks you can slowly transfer everything from your hotmail to your Gmail.

Gmail works seamlessly with the iPhone and iPod touch.

Gmail's are a built-in preset. All ypu would need is an account.
