How to share a link to a zip file stored on iCloud?

Nope, not possible as far as I know. I'm in the same boat, want to drop dropbox but can't due to lack of sharing features. Provide feedback at apple.com/feedback and maybe it'll become a feature soon.

Nowhere near as easy as DropBox, but you might be able to use Mail Drop to do it.

I just used Maildrop with gmail, you just have to use the Mail app on Mac to do so.

Shhhhhh. Very interesting workaround. Not perfectly, but helpful in some cases.
