how to share file MBP to vista?

Hi guys need help.
I'm new to Mac and this forum.I need to share my file wid my vista desk top and my MBP wid belkin wireless N+ router.i can get MBP file in my desk top but i can't get vista desk top file in MBP.but i can get vista to vista.i have no idea what went wrong.please help me guys.
