my wife and I both use itunes and we both have itunes accounts. I was wondering can I share my music and videos I bought from itunes, so that she can play them on her own itunes account on her computer?

we tried copy files but it does not work.

thanks!

HomeShare

Unless I have misunderstood you, the solution appears to be Home Share.

A feature introduced in iTunes 9. You can find information about it here.

Although I do not use it myself nor tested it, I did read somewhere that once enabled you can drag/drop items between libraries.

You can do it through either the Home Share feature (iTunes 9+ on both machines) or by authorizing the other machine to play files purchased with iTunes account (though the desired song could only be played by being logged into its originating, "purchased" account).

Easier just to use Home Share...
