All iPads how to share pics onto my ipad ?

Can anyone tell me how i can access my pics that i have on my mac onto my ipad ?

i've shared movies/music onto itunes library but that same hasnt worked for my pics.

I don't really want to upload onto icloud i have around 15gb of pics.

I have iphoto on my mac but to download iphoto onto ipad 4 it wants to charge me £2.99 for it ?

I don't wanna upload them anywhere. Just want a simple solution like sharing movies on iTunes library.

You can transfer photos from mac to ipad with photosync app. Works well
