Hi,

I need some advice, I have a wireless printer that I would like to share using my home network but I’m not sure what would be the best way to do this, since I have never done anything like this before.

What I have is a wireless printer(HP), a MacBook (wirelessly connected), a MacMini (wired connected), a PC laptop (wirelessly connected) and a linksys router.

Is there a way to share this through my router or do I need to install the printer in one of the machines and then share the print?

What would be my best alternative to share this printer?

Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

Google, "Bonjour". It's really amazing, you can even install it on the PC.

I connected my wireless printer to my network, went to System Preferences>Print & Fax and clicked the + symbol to add a printer. In the Bonjour list was my HP. I clicked it, and it went online and found the drivers for it. Installed the drivers automatically and I was ready to print in less than five minutes. Do the same for each computer and you're good! The PC, however, may require a "few" more steps. XD

There are guides on Apple's site, I'm sure. If you have a mac that is no older than 90 days, you can call up Apple for free phone support.
