I sold my 24" iMac on eBay and need to ship it now. I saved the original box it came in, as well as the styrofoam support pieces that were used.

Is this going to be sufficient for shipping it with UPS Ground? I am a little worried about it and want to know if anyone has done this the same way or a different way that worked.

Thanks

You probably could ship it in just its box. If not, the UPS store carries a selection of boxes and packaging peanuts. Just put the iMac box in a slightly larger corrugated cardboard box and add some of the packaging peanuts for extra support. Make sure you insure it to its full invoice value just in case it gets damaged/lost in transit.

Apple ships the imac in the same retail box, you should be fine shipping it out in the same box. Insure you package and get signature confirmation to satisify paypal.

I was shipped a 20" ACD in it's original box via FedEx with no issues.
