We tried this once at work for destroying a credit card, I've yet to find a more complete way to destroy anything that might have personal data....

A belt sander.....

All that's left is a pile of fine dust.... Any thief who manages to put that back together and use it deserves what they get with it....

So far putting them in a bag and breaking them is the winner. But I'll use Elektro-Funk's method of scrathing them on a pavement first. 🙂

YAYYYYY! Do i win a prize or something??? 😀

Personally, I like the Dan Akroyd approach similar to his "Bag O' Glass" toy. I cut them into sharp objects and give them out to the kiddies as ninja stars.

I use mold cleaner on mine-it dissolves plastic completely - but you probably don't work at a molding shop! I have a plethora of possibilities, should the need arise to get rid of some cds - we have industrial-sized grinders to grind our un-used plastic - one big enough to cram a body into! 😱 Not that I would know...

Sandpaper the hell out of them and THEN put 'em in a paper bag and smash 'em. That should put your mind at ease.
